Maetta Announces Nomination of CEO
Boucherville, April 29th 2009 – Maetta is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Yvan Beaudoin as Chief Executive Officer of the company. The announcement was made today by Mr. Pierre-Georges Roy, Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Beaudoin has over 20 years of experience holding executive positions in technology and medical companies in Canada, the US and Europe. Prior to joining Maetta, Mr. Beaudoin spent six years as Chief Operation Officer and Vice President Sales and Marketing at Orthosoft, a Montreal-base developer of navigation systems and instruments for orthopeadic surgeries. In that position, he oversaw the strategic development of the company, negotiated development and distribution contracts with multinationals of the orthopaedic industry and executed the sale of the company to Zimmer in 2008. Mr. Beaudoin holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and a MBA from the University of Toronto.
