Boucherville, November 7 2005 – Maetta Sciences Inc. announces an increase of its production capacity to insure the delivery of a new manufacturing contract. This investment derives from the company’s technological innovation that led to Canada’s first powder injection moulding rapid prototyping facilities in January 2005.

Maetta specializes in net-shaping manufacturing of metallic and ceramic parts. The prototyping and manufacturing technology developed by Maetta is applicable to all industries. To this day, the company is active in aerospace and consumer products, and is developing applications for the medical industry, the dental industry and the industrial products sector. Mathieu Boisclair, President of Maetta, believes the net-shaping technologies developed by the company will help its clients to better cope with growing competition coming from Asia and Eastern Europe.
